Lives up to the name. The chips here are the best chippy chips I've ever had. Good crispiness and width to em. Have tried the pizza, prawns and smoked sausage - all banging. Only complaint is the sauces are a bit meh but that doesn't matter at all.

More like the worst chippy. Ordered a simple fish supper and sausage, called ahead and was told 15 minutes. Arrived early, paid, and ended up waiting over 30 minutes while other customers were served before me. When I asked about my order, I was told it had already been called, despite sitting there the entire time. No apology, no accountability, and poor attitude from both men behind the counter, one of which was the manager. The only positive was the girl on the till, who was polite. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience completely let the place down. Won’t be back.

When this chippy is good, it’s very good. I drive from tollcross to get it. On the odd occasion you can get the fish and they haven’t let it sit on the rail under the lights after cooking for long enough so it is extremely greasy, stop doing that and it would be the best chippy in Scotland. Picture added is one of the times it was brilliant a couple of weeks ago.

Ordered from here for a long time and the food is usually always lovely but the service is lacking. Usually you don’t get the dip you ordered so I stopped ordering them. Whenever you order collection and arrive at the collection time, they start making it in front of you making you wait longer which defeats the purpose. Whenever you phone they’re quite rude and abrupt. The last straw for me was a member of staff repeatedly calling me “darling” over the phone despite me asking him not to.
