Always nice to discover a new place by chance. My friend and i were heading for breakfast at Wetherspoons Main St. Rutherglen but they were closed due to a water stoppage. At a bit of a loose end for options, a stranger recommended Niu Cafe in a side St off Main St. All the time i have lived in nearby Kings park and i never new this quaint little place existed. Seemingly, operating since 1999 this small cafe is run by a lovely chinese family. They have an extensive menu catering for all tastes and a special deal childrens 3 course meal. Lovely wee cafe, went here with my mum for a bite to eat after some errands and got the Cajun chicken toastie with chips - was beautiful! And the guy serving us was very nice and helpful. Will be back :))
