Totally unexpected experience. Online photos are of a modern cinema but, in my opinion, this is a poorly furnished film house in an old building. Seats aren't suitably sloped to see over the person in front, screens are small, lots of people standing to let people in due to lack of aisles. Staff really friendly and helpful though.

I really like this cinema, however, there are some huge problems with it. The screens and sound systems are quite out of date and not maintained very well. I know this is partially to do with the building itself, but it feels like they haven’t done much do modernise the cinema in recent times. The screens are also somewhat poorly maintained with at times flickering lights and buzzing speakers. This does not diminish the hard work of the staff who are all very nice and keep the screens very clean! This is a unique opportunity to watch a movie in a (partly) 15th-century building. The screen is rather small, but the seats are comfortable, the popcorn is good, and the staff are super lovely. Overall, a very positive experience
