Lovely Fish and Chips restaurant, with friendly staff, good food, and old-fashioned service. The Prawn cocktail was delicious and presented well. Cod was perfectly fried along with the chips. My partner's Lemon Sole was nice, too. And a good old nice pot of tea for two. The restaurant was clean and tidy. They also have takeaway chippy next door.

Waited over 20 years to eat here popped in today. Was ok but very average. Batter a bit greasey. Fish could be better quality. Toilets need a refurb. Prices were good.

Edit. We went to the takeaway side this time, and whilst the lady serving was friendly, the portion size was tiny for the cost! Over £20 for fish and chips twice with peas! The fish was OK but not what we would call a large, but the chips were such a small amount we nearly took the lot back. Thought they might be hiding under the fish but nothing!! Won't be coming back anytime soon I'm afraid. We went to the restaurant for the first time for my girlfriends birthday. We were seated straight away in a clean and well spaces restaurant. Been coming here sunscreen I was a little girl always enjoyed the food the gravy doesn’t have much flavour but apart from that it’s wonderful the staff are lovely it’s good price chips u get a fairly large portion better crispy and nice taste to it curry sauce is amazing really full of flavour will keep coming here
