I am basing this review purely on the quality and consistency of the ice cream, as I have never sat and had a meal/snack in the café itself, over the 50 years, I have been coming here. I loved ice cream as a child, and now I am a pensioner, my love for ice cream has never diminished. Arrighis Ice cream is one of the best ice creams I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The original flavour is truly unique, and I have travelled extensively during my lifetime. I love both the flavour and consistency. Was looking for a little cafe to grab a coffee and sandwich for dinner came across this place and it was decent enough, slow with our order but was nice enough, couple arrived after us ordered while we were eating and there food was quick so maybe something happening when we arrived, it did not put us off at all and would go back if in the area again, plenty people in and out getting ice creams so they must be good will try next time .

The cafe itself is fairly unprepossessing, but the staff are very friendly, and most importantly the ice creams are amazing! All home-made gelatos, with a good variety of flavours, and fair value for money. What more do you want from an ice cream parlour? :-) They've been around for 100 years in 2025, so they must be doing something right!
