Had a great meal at Saffron. The Naga Lamb Chop was full of flavour with a nice spicy kick, and the lamb was cooked perfectly. The Lamb Shank Biryani was excellent too, with tender meat that fell off the bone and fragrant, well-seasoned rice. Portions were generous and the food was fresh and well presented. Friendly service and a great overall experience. Will definitely be back!

To be sure, we booked a table for 6:30pm but at that time the place was not busy, although it did become more so around 8pm when we were almost ready to leave. The waiters were keen to make a fuss of us: they gave us a decent table and the service throughout was good. The mango lassi was very mango-y but for me the ice watered it down. First visit to Saffron but definitely wont be the last! Celebrated my granddaughters 21st here today so we were a large family group of mixed ages. The welcome was lovely and the overall service from start to finish was equally good. Loved the fact that they gave us some free starters to try and helped us with our food choices, nothing was too much trouble! The food itself was great, very tasty and good portion sizes. They made our granddaughters birthday special with a little cake (for which there was no charge) and they gave her a £20 gift voucher! We certainly wasn't expecting that! Would

Wonderful food and even better service! This restaurant catered for our big family of 20.
