Well worth the undulating walk to get here, you feel as if you’ve earned at least your first pint! The Blue Bee Nelson Oat Pale was possibly the best pint of the day.

Great pub this although it does smell a little of damp. Log burner being lit would be nice as a tad cold inside. The cask beer i had was in excellent condition.

What a pub. Nothing flash but their range of whisky is enormous. Apparently over 300 at some extremely good prices. The staff are really friendly and I would highly recommend a visit if you are in area and like whisky. Has that typical English local pub feel.
