I had such a great experience at Costa in Shenfield recently. The atmosphere in the store was genuinely warm and welcoming, which made a big difference straight away. Even when it got really busy, the team handled everything incredibly well—working efficiently, staying calm, and serving everyone quickly without ever compromising on politeness. It’s clear that the staff all get along well, which creates a really positive vibe for customers, but they still keep things professional at all times. Really impressed with this Costa. It’s always clean, well run, and the service is consistently quick and friendly. The manager, a young blonde girl with a horse tattoo on her arm, clearly makes a big difference, the team work well together and everything just runs smoothly, even when it’s busy. The Manager is not only a credit to the Shenfield store but a credit to Costa Coffee. You can tell there’s good leadership behind it. Definitely one of the better Costa stores around.

It was a humid rainy summers day. Arriving at the station for the first time to Shenfield we had an hour to murder so we popped to Costa just a minute walk from the station. Surprised to see Costa still open these days and even more surprises as the busy coffee shop was clean and bright with the large windows, and we were served quickly and efficiently by smiling staff. All my reviews are honest and not even indirectly biased in any way... In other words I don't know anyone lol.
