What a great find. Lovely rooms above a pub in a cracking location in the heart of beautiful Shrewsbury- everything is on your doorstep. A public car park about 4 minutes walk away offers free overnight parking too (6pm to 8am) so almost free parking. Our room was spacious with a comfy bed, large screen tv, tea coffee, posh biccies and toiletries and its own private shower room opposite the room. That’s the only minor negative that ours was not en-suite, but others are. A fantastic cooked breakfast with quality ingredients included in the price so all in all excellent and will now be our go to

Shrewsbury Old Post Office. Lovely food and definitely budget friendly. Steak and ale pie was gorgeous with proper chunky chips like mum made - obviously not good if watching calories but worth the treat. . The menu has plenty for everyone. Staff are lovely and dogs are made welcome 😊

Excellent venue for a weekend away. 1st class service . Proper pub with some good entertainment. Rooms were 1st class and breakfast was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and will be back again in the near future.

Location perfect. Room was spotless. Size was perfect. Checkout time was 10.30 which in my view is very early. Breakfast was good but would have liked option of fresh fruit. Noise in weekends is alot in the evening until about midnight due to live music. So if light sleeper you would need earplugs.
