Met a friend here on Thursday and we had a really lovely evening. The pub is cosy with a nice atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service throughout our visit. The menu has lots of choice and the 3 courses is fantastic value at £15.99! We had: Starters - nachos and battered mushrooms Mains - 2 x katsu chicken rice bowls with a side of fries Desserts - creme brulee and a sticky toffee pudding All of the food was very good and fresh. Couldn't fault the service. Plates were cleaned up swiftly after each course and we were asked if everything was ok with our food. Toilets were clean. Car

Hired part of The Dog out for my dad’s wake and it was lovely. Sam the manager was great, really looked after us as a family and had some really nice suggestions to make sure we gave my dad the perfect send off. Food was delicious and plentiful and they packed up doggy bags for everyone to take away as there was plenty left over. All bar staff were friendly and approachable. Will definitely return for food another time and it’s great that it’s dog friendly too, we will have to return with our pooch soon.

Came here a few times but my daughter just got me set up to add reviews for the pubs I visit for food. I’ve been served by a man name Ian many times now and he is unbelievable. I have seen him run around so much and told him myself he is always on his feet. He is very pleasant and always makes time for you. I enjoy coming here to be served by staff like Ian instead of some other staff members who aren’t as friendly. Food is ok, some days are better than others. Place is nice and plenty of parking. Had an absolutely fantastic evening here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting—a proper pub with great character. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home immediately. We tried the Sunday roast, and it was delicious—generous portions and high-quality ingredients. Wide selection of real ales and excellent wine, too. Definitely our new favorite spot, highly recommended!"
