Supposedly one of the oldest pub of London - the old building reminds it and provides the atmosphere that comes with it. Very good food. I recommend the fish and chips. For 20 years , I have been in the quest of the best fish and chips in London...I guess my search is over !

A great pub with a solid selection of classic pub fare. I can highly recommend the Scotch egg and the Argentine prawn toast. We also tried the mash and the mac & cheese, and everything was delicious. Tasty food, good atmosphere, and well worth a visit.

I guess after Weins video a lot of people (i am one of them) are attending this place. I found the serving to be way too salty. The ratio between the hero of the dish (fish) to the coating is off. Way too much (salty) coating. You do not feel and taste the fish enough . The scotch egg was fine

The food especially the fish and chips were amazing, good modern pubie vibe. HOWEVER, the service was titanic. Everything was rushed, they took away our starters as I haven’t even finish and took away our mains half way through. They could have notify us that they need the table back before a certain time, but overall the service really let us down and it was not a pleasant experience.
