I visited The Farm Inn , this pub restaurant on Friday and ordered a duck salad. The presentation was attractive, but as soon as the plate was placed on my table, I immediately noticed a hair in the salad. I called the waiter over and explained the issue. When he asked how he could resolve it, I requested a new salad and clearly emphasized that I wanted a freshly prepared replacement. A few minutes later, another salad was brought to my table. Went here for my birthday dinner, as first timers we were welcomed without a booking a reservation on a Thursday night. After 6p.m. the place was almost full of diners. We ordered fish and chips, salt and pepper chicken wings and I was blown away with the presentation of my fish cake with spinach. I did not give them 5stars for the service because although they greet you, serve you and ask how was your food…it felt generic/no connection to customers and unlike other restaurants the servers normally tries to make a small conversation. But the food were delicious I must admit.

This place is lovely. It has such a good vibe to it, the staff are so friendly, and the food is AMAZING. We took recommendations from our server and it didn’t disappoint. I don’t live nearby but I’m already thinking of another excuse to visit the area so we can come back.
