I had been planning to visit this restaurant for a long time, and I finally got the chance. It’s a charming, old-fashioned spot, and we were warmly welcomed by a lovely lady. We ordered both starters and main courses. The Greek salad was fresh, though the feta cheese was served in very small pieces. The main course portions were generous and flavorful. The spaghetti Bolognese was delicious, and the chicken with mushroom sauce was excellent with crunchy chips. The lady serving us was friendly and kind. The only downside was the noticeable smell of dampness.

Absolutely LOVE George's restaurant, the food is delicious with a great menu with lots of choice. I have been coming here for quite a few years and every visit is as good if not better than the last. All the staff are so friendly and kind and make you feel very welcome. I came on Saturday evening with a group of 4 and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to booking again!

George’s Restaurant is my favourite restaurant and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always great and really adds to the experience. The staff were friendly, especially Harriet who was lovely, and the food was delicious with very generous portions. Excellent value for money and a true Southampton classic. Highly recommend!
