It's the greatest restaurant I've ever been to anywhere. It's family owned so everyone is either a son, cousin, daughter but that means that everyone really cares about the place. All the staff are spectacular- warm, friendly, have all the knowledge you want, treat you special, can't do enough for you etc. They're just superb. The food is sensational. I love the way they change the menu and there's always something on there you've just got to try and it's always utterly delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic too as I've never not seen it full. Could give this way more than five stars. Food was exceptional, the service personal and friendly and the atmosphere for a wet Tuesday was brilliant. People being noisy enjoying unbridled pleasure at the food being served here. Great menu with lots of choice, lots of interesting dishes and service with a smile. It’s not cheap but the 40 covers there this evening thought it was worth it. I will be back here to enjoy more delicious french food in the heart of Birkdale. Tables can now be booked for the Open next year

We ate here last night and had a fantastic meal. We were made to feel very welcome by all of the excellent servers and the food was delicious. The fish dishes were cooked to perfection and the crispy potatoes were outstanding. We will return!
