Stayed here last weekend, the location is great, 5 mins from centre but its in a quiet area so ideal. The breakfast was lovely, staff very warm, friendly and polite. The rooms were nice, clean and the beds were very comfy indeed, we stayed in rooms 16 & 22. Will stay here again when visiting stafford. Would of been nice to have the last drink before heading upstairs but the bar closes at 11pm, but other than cannot fault it in anyway

We were visiting from Wilmington, North Carolina and was our last night in Stafford. Having dinner at The Vine Hotel, the oldest Inn in Stafford, England was the perfect establishment for the evening. It is such a charming, very English atmosphere that feels magical in the Christmas season. The hostess is absolutely fantastic and a lovely lady. Thank you Stafford for being so welcoming for two Americans that love England.

Excellent welcome on arrival. Spacious and comfortable room (12) Location is very good and central. Car parking is at the rear of hotel and register your car on arrival. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming with a special shout out to Mhairi and the lady chef who cooked my excellent rump steak and salad. Room (12) was spacious and comfortable. The building is old so expect the odd creaking floorboard. The bar has a good range of beers etc and the food I had was excellent. I have stayed here many times and I have always had a good stay.

Forget those branded, modern hotels! The Vine Hotel: Staffordshire oldest Inn, just off the main high street in a quaint, quiet side road. 5 minute walk into high street. Highly recommended atmospheric Inn. Parking available to Inn residents but limited due to council restriction [ approx 14 spaces] but council parking nearby. Double room [17] was clean, surprisingly large with large basic bathroom, double bed, tea, coffee making facilities, landing dressing area. Stairs are steep, interchanging corridors, so those with any walking disability need to be, just aware. Inn was very atmosphe
