This is a small bakery with tiny seating space but a big hearty team and great baked goods. The whole wheat bread is the best, I bouoght 2 loaves and need to return for more. The coffee was great too, I am usually partial to Guillam and Hide Away (Soho). Staff was friendly and chatty. I wouldn't bother with eat in unless in a pinch as the seating space is limited to 3 or 4 seats on bar top facing the window.

This place has an amazing assortment of breads and pasties all of the sweet kind ones are beautiful. The pain au chocolat was made on the French style loads of butter. I have to say was a bit disappointed with the sour sandwiches selection. They were not very appealing at all to be honest. The coffe was great. I did not like the fact that the place is always packed and it’s very difficult to get a table and sit down enjoy your meal.

Disappointing experience I visited Spencer Bakery today for the first time with my son on a very cold day. I bought a cinnamon danish and a coffee to take away, and as we were leaving my son asked to sit for a moment. There were only four chairs and just one person sitting, so we quietly sat down to share the pastry. A woman who seemed like the owner/manager asked if we wanted a plate, and I declined because I didn’t want to cause extra work.
