Been hearing good things about Cafe Aina so popped in for a quick lunch. Obviously, we had to try the Chicken Gyros, and honestly, the food was the best part. The pitta was really fresh (properly soft and warm), the chicken was flavourful, chips were chunky, well‑seasoned and there was plenty of them. For £8.25, it felt like good value. The staff were genuinely lovely too, really friendly and welcoming. The let‑downs were more about the place itself. I have been to many Greek food places now back home and this place absolutely blew all of them out of the water. Nothing to say but good things. Service and food were beyond top tier — mind you this is the cheapest dinner I’ve had out in Scotland, and I’m stuffed!! What a find. Angelos and his mother (the chef) are such lovely kind individuals and their food is a phenomenally delicious demonstration of their passion for their restaurant and the cuisine. Love this unassuming Greek cafe. Food is fabulous, authentically Greek and extensive vegan options. Prices are really reasonable and service is always friendly. Can take a while when it’s busy but well worth the wait. The tofu souvlaki with vegan tzatziki is delicious - fresh, home made sauce and marinated tofu. Always stop in when in Stirling
