This was our first time visiting ego at the Copperfield. From the moment we arrived all the staff were very pleasant, polite and smiling we were given a great table promptly without a reservation. Amy was a waitress. She was efficient, polite and asked a few times if everything was okay which it was. The food was hot, well presented and very tasty we couldn’t fault it. Visited for Sunday lunch and I must say what a difference from the old Copperfield's. I had the roast rump lamb and it was beautifully cooked with a lovely crumb, parsnips, carrots, red cabbage, nice roast potatoes, a beautiful Yorkshire pudding and tasty gravy. It was served hot and non greasy (like sometimes when your dinner had been sitting around for ages). The desserts where equally tasty. We were served by a lovely waitress who was very helpful and attentive even though it was only her second day. My group liked it so much we are now planning to take a big family group there next month.
