We came in for Sunday roast and had such a lovely time. The food was comforting, well cooked and exactly what you want from a proper Sunday roast. TONS of extra gravy too. A huge shout out to Libby who looked after us so well, was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. She was especially lovely with our lil Pug Pierre, which made the visit even more special and relaxed for us. Great food, great atmosphere and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back 🐾🐾

Great atmosphere. The six Nations was on so the pub was full to capacity, however we were lucky enough to have seats for the 5 of us. Lovely lively ambience. Libby the bar lady was absolutely lovely, attentive, eager to please, with a lovely beaming smile that was welcoming. A very rare experience in all my 40+ years of drinking in pubs. Libby immediately made you feel special despite this being my first time in the White Lion. Lobby is a star in my opinion and a real keeper. I would not hesitate to come back again, as it was such a great experience not just for me but also for my 4 companions
