Booked our christmas work do at The catchems. We were told to pre book our food weeks in advance which everyone did, we also rang up to make any changes to the food and cancel the orders for people that couldn't make it. Started off well untill the Starters came out. We were given a random extra starter so everyone was confused (figured out one of the starters wasn't cancelled). A lad came over to us in shorts and hoodie (very professional for a pub 🙄) and told us that the lemon tart one of us ordered hadnt been defrosted?? Why? We pre ordered in advance like we were told to. On to the mains.

Great place to eat and drink this summer when the weather is nice because of the pubs great facilities, kids play area, outside tv and beer garden. We also had the great opportunity to be served outside by Natasha with what appeared to be a tablet which she took our drinks orders from. Something I hadn't seen before but it made our experience more enjoyable and relaxed because it helped us to order drinks conveniently while we was with our kids playing and enjoying the sunshine. We didn't have to move to get a drink and the drinks we ordered came out to us within 10mins. Natasha was very welco

Great place to enjoy with friend and a very socialble pub that if you arrive alone youlle always have someone to talk to. The atmosphere is friendly and hugely welcoming especially by the bar team Nic and Ali. A great traditional pub tribute to community values

Eating area was clean and welcoming and there was a pleasant atmosphere on entering. The toilets were clean and tidy and soap dispenser and toilet roll were full. The app to order at the table was easy enough to use, a quick scan of the QR code and we were away. The drinks took a while to come out, but the food was hot and tasty. A bit more time between starters and mains would have been nice. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Would come back again for food.
