Enjoyed a delicious meal here. Good potion sizes. Can be a little on the expensive side, so I wouldn't go often. But a nice treat. Friendly and helpful staff. There is a beer garden at the back. Chips are cooked in separate oil and fryers, making them vegetarian.

Went here to try it out and was not disappointed. The food was stunning, I ordered a smothered chicken in BBQ sauce and it was great. The only issue was that the draught cider did not include any that I liked, the options were thatchers gold and thatchers haze. I tried both and wasn’t fussed on either. I think that if they added some different draught cider this place would be the local pub I would visit weekly. The drinks let the place down but the food was overall fantastic, prices were abit high but was a great experience overall.

We dropped in yesterday for lunch, it was the first time we have been to The Eagle for years. We were really impressed with everything. Fresh modern decor and furnishings, spotlessly clean, excellent beer, lovely staff and above all the food was absolutely superb. It is unfortunately rare these days to be unable to fault at least one part of your meal but on our plates everything was 100% superb. I had the steak and ale pie and chips, the pie was fresh and full of prime beef chunks with delicious soft flaky pastry, the gravy was thick and delicious (not instant gravy made with boiled water
