This was a fabulous pub for drinking, with a large area that has a classic design! This is coupled with glorious lights across, counter is well-presented too and toilets had cleanliness maintained. I had two delicious pints of cider, taking advantage of the selection of flat ones on craft that has to be asked for! The seating is comfortable and staff were friendly, being understanding when I was feeling slightly off towards the end around midnight.

The bartender tells me this Spoons has just lost the record as the longest Spoons in the estate! If the cask choice is not to your liking, there are craft can deals and cider options. Do try to sit out at the back and marvel at the Minster tower at St Magdalene’s - you may even spot a Peregrine Falcon who nests there.
