Whenever we visit my parents in Hull, we always make a point of coming to The Nags Head for a Sunday lunch, and it never disappoints. The food is absolutely gorgeous every single time – generous portions, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. It's become a tradition for our family, and the consistency is what keeps us coming back. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, creating a lovely atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable. If you're looking for one of the best Sunday roasts in the area, I couldn't recommend The Nags Head highly enough.

I have been before for Carvery and found it quite nice. But Friday off the menu was a let down. Had the lunch menu. Deep fried Garlic mushrooms were hard on the outside and squishy watery on the inside. No Garlic. Main course was scampi and chips. Not much but ok scampi. Left the chips. My mate had Hunters chicken. Salad ok but he left chips as well. Not even acceptable frozen chips. Guy behind counter nice person. Including 2 x cokes £36 for both of us. Originally called in at Fish Resteraunt in Hornsea but full and taking bookings for late afternoon. Thought of Nags Head ba

The staff were friendly and welcoming on our arrival. The bar staff and waiting staff were also wonderful. We ordered and paid on the app as we were a large group - this was straight forward and easy to do. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious 😋. Thank you to everyone at the Nags head.... we will be back soon

Went for the Sunday Lunch and it did not disappoint. Wide choice of superbly prepared meats (I had the pork and beef) and great vegetables (the roast carrots, braised red cabbage and sliced potatoes in a peppery cheese sauce were the highlights). With it being Easter Sunday it was very busy and the staff found us a nice table in a quieter location.
