It was a really welcoming place and the view was amazing The chicken with the carrots and the cheesy potato at the side with gravy was ok. The chicken was a bit on the dry side. Liked the presentation. The gravy was good and so was the potato with cheese Then I got the mousse which was delicious with it being light even being a chocolate dessert and the cream on the side. Loved it. Service with the staff was also nice

It is always a delight to dine here either pre-theatre or post theatre! The recent menu upgrades have exceeded our expectations. Fabulous quality food, Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!😋 We believe that Dining hair offers hood value for money!👍 Pier 8 is definitely worth a visit even if you're not attending the theatre! Despite booking well in advance for my birthday, we were seated at by far the worst table in the house - Right in front of the hot, noisy open kitchen, across from one another at an oversized table which made it hard to hear, and impossible to hold a proper conversation. I'd have asked for another table, but the restaurant was full. The staff were all perfectly lovely, but the position of our table made it such that we couldn't relax and chat at all, as they were constantly walking back and forth right next to us and making eye contact due to my seating position. **5 stars - Absolutely brilliant!** Just had the most fantastic lunch at Pier Eight before catching "Dear England" (seriously, bring tissues - what a show!). We'd booked for 11:45 and honestly couldn't have asked for better timing or better food.
