Well worth a trip, no matter the weather. The food is fantastic, such an interesting menu! Great beers too. It was pretty windy and rainy when we were there but it all added to the experience! They had heaters and blankets, but sadly didn’t stop the rain getting through. Some plastic window like covers over the balcony would help I think but honestly, the food is so nice, I wouldn’t let it put you off if the weather’s a bit dodgy.

Excellent service! We booked a table of 2 on deck but we ended up having 3 people, they are so kind to help rearrange the seats for us. Thank you so much! The view is spectacular and the food is superb! My friends who came all the way from Hong Kong said this was the best seafood meal they got in UK!!! Of coz, I can’t agree more!!! Thanks so much!

Amazing Food, Lovely Setting… Service Needs a Bit of Sunshine We had a 10:30 booking and were greeted and seated quickly, which got things off to a great start. It was a gorgeous sunny day, the view was beautiful, and we were really looking forward to the experience. As first-timers, the menu was explained to us and we were told someone would be back shortly to take our order. Unfortunately, that “shortly” turned into a bit of a wait. After about 10 minutes with no sign of our original waiter, I had to catch someone else’s eye just to order. Drinks were a bit of an adventure too — one arrive

Unbelievably delicious seafood, excellent choice of fish dishes, enormous juicy oysters, lovely beverage options and beautiful views of the castle ruins and sea. Great ambience and service. We drove quite far out of the way to go to Riley's on a recommendation from a friend and was definitely worth it. Sitting on the balcony getting rain and sea spray in the face added to the experience! One of the best meals I've had in a long time! 10/10 Dog friendly. Suggest booking to avoid disappointment!
