This used to be a good bar when it Pleased to Meet You. Painting a few bits green and putting some Guinees prints up doesn't make it an Irish pub. No atmosphere whatsoever, just a generic pub with a load of TVs, bit like wetherspoons. Don't even do cocktails. Pints might be cheap but taste off.

Popped in for a drink and a bite to eat. Very good service and choice of drinks & food. If you want afternoon tea this needs to be pre booked but we shared a couple of small plates and some fries. All very tasty and cooked to perfection. Washed down with a bottle of Prosecco.

Got a voucher for a presecco afternoon tea. Absolutely fantastic, the food was outstanding. Wasn't able to all the cakes was given a box to take the rest of them home. The staff were so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Nothing was a bother. Have a good selection of cocktails. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place.

Visited for sunday dinner this afternoon, busy pub and brilliant atmosphere. Myself and my partner got a roast beef with all the trimmings. The beef was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. Crisp roast potatoes and the gravy was absolutely amazing. Easily the best Sunday Dinner in Tynemouth, we will definitely be back.
