One of our favourite away from home wanders we used to have a brew chimp in boothstown near where we live. Unfortunately that went however hooray for us. We got malt dog but the one in ermston and flixton are just definitely ones to visit. Whether you just want a small community style bar or some choice of relay with four wickets really a place to be

Booth and I decided to walk 15 minutes out of Urmston to try this micro bar. Four real ales. Two from Beartown Brewery in Congleton plus a house session beer that we tried..it was OK. ( Beartown?) They had Bateman's XB from Lincolnshire on this visit but only came on after I ordered. Wine was disappointing as well. One room bar seats about 36 plus similar out front. One TV. Can hire out the bar. Pipped music. Needs some TLC. There is a small kitchen but no sign of food being served on this visit.

Good atmosphere and a good set of customers. Music nights are fantastic and a must attend! Top barstaff who serve a fantastic pint of Guinness! The clientele are very friendly and talkative and even put up with my humour! 😂
