Today, I found this amazing pub in Waltham Abbey called The Crown. It turned out to be the ideal venue for food, drink, darts and entertainment including live sports. The food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared by their in-house chef and warmly served by an amazing waitress who ensured that I was allocated a suitable seat and table to watch the live football. All patrons were very friendly and the warm ambience was second to none. A special thank you to the Bentleys who came over to check up on me. The roast lamb we had on Easter Sunday was cooked packed with flavour, rosemary on the roast potatoes 👌🏽Homemade Yorkshire pudding & cauliflower cheese were superb. Gravy was just how I like it (on the thicker side) To be fair we knew it would be good because we had the roast beef last Sunday & that was amazing too

The Crown looks and feels great under the new ownership. We love the comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. Bob is a great host at the fun weekly quiz nights. I hear the Sunday roasts and music nights are great too. Well done, it's lovely to have busy pub again.
