What a great pub! I have known The Goose for long and it is at its best in the last 20 years. The cask ale is fab, the food is decent (I particularly recommend the delicious margarita pizza), it has great sports coverage, and, most of all, a very friendly staff of Ringo and others always willing to assist customers, not least with using the brilliant Mixr app which gives wonderful discounts. Very much the feel of a friendly local.
