I’ve been to the The Boythorpe a few times this week, and each visit has been fantastic. On Friday night they had a live singer who was absolutely brilliant — the music really brought the place to life. The whole pub had such a warm, lively, and fun atmosphere, with everyone clearly having a great time. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel welcome. Since the new managers have came in, the pub has gone downhill in all aspects. The staff are incredibly rude, aggressive and are people who you just do not want behind a bar, the food is now absolutely shocking and there is no care for food hygiene. Drink prices have also recently increased on a ridiculous scale. What once was a friendly, comfortable pub is now hostile and empty. I have attached a picture of the last meal I had there a little over a month ago this was sold as an adult “meal”
