Just wanted to give a bit of balance to some recent negative reviews here as reading them did put me off coming beforehand. I’m glad I came anyway. This afternoon I got a sandwich and a latte and used my laptop at my table to do remote work. The woman who served me provided good service bringing my drink to my table and reassuring me when I got to the counter and realised I had no idea what drink I wanted (no queue behind me don’t worry.) Obviously it’s in a shopping centre so it’s never going to be the most beautiful cafe in the world but it provided a bite to eat, a decent coffee, and good

Oh how this place has changed! Staff definitely need some training on how to treat customers. First thing would be eye contact, possibly a smile or even a greeting. Secondly, how to clean the tables & wipe up spilt coffee on the floor before someone slips on it. Finally, how to actually make a coffee, especially a flat white. Perhaps they could go & visit the Starbucks on Winwick Road for some tips!

I visited here with my friend who is in a wheelchair & didn't find it very accessible. The tables & chairs were quite tightly packed together with little room to manoeuvre. There is an area outside the outlet which is more spacious in fairness though. Service was ok, polite enough but lacked any warmth or friendliness.

I have been here a couple of mornings on my way to work. The last time I went in the lady serving me was rude, abrupt and made me feel really uncomfortable. No eye contact, no please or thank you and just huffed making my drink. And then to top it off my mocha was like dishwater, I didn’t feel comfortable asking for her to make my drink again. I wouldn’t mind but the prices are quite high and the least I’d expect is for my drink to be made properly.
