I met my friend at Shirley cafe today, found on Google as a halfway point. And what a find it was….We had the loveliest brunch. I had the smashed chilli avocado as I saw that someone had recommended it and it did not disappoint. And then……when ordering my second latte…. I noticed homemade cakes. Before I knew it I was ordering a giant slice of peanut butter cake 🍰. This was a seriously good cake. My son works in Shirley a lot and have recommended Shirley cafe to him. Apparently it’s his go to already. Thoroughly recommended and we’ll be back again soon.
