Cardiff gets the most rainfall of any city in the U.K. There’s no such thing as dry January in Cardiff as it rains constantly. Now into the third week in February and the skies continue to be dull, miserable and punish us still. It’s horrible and it’s lunchtime so I’m craving a quick fix. Had food here recently, waited quite a while for service at the carvery. The meat was good (gammon) however the veg & gravy wasn't that good. Probably had been left under the lamps for quite some time. Don't think I'll be rushing back there anytime soon. Also drinks prices are very high.

Cavery was disgusting every bit of veg was undercooked the mash tasted like raw potato the gravy was like water absolutely vile, the glasses giving to us was dirty so was the spoons with our desserts we had to request for clean new glasses and spoons, the desert was also disgusting order a chocolate fudge cake with custard it came drowned in watery custard, cake was hard and frozen in the middle! Heavy pregnant and was served food I wouldn’t even feed to my dog with dirty cutlery too! Came here today for a festive lunch but after being here for over an hour before our booking time we sat by the bar to have a drink the beer tasted awful like it was the bottom of the barrel, tea pots had no lids no teaspoons so were given straws to stir the tea what a joke. To our disgust the tables were full with uneaten food on them not one person came to remove them all that time we were there the staff just walked by maybe people shouldn’t eat in the bar area. we took a look at the food it looked cold dry there was all spilt gravy and sauces looks like no one cleans the areas . The a
