Janna Cafe Round the corner from East London Mosque, we walked into Janna Cafe mid-Taraweeh time (8 rak’ah gang… just kidding, zero rak’ah 😅). Squad of six and ready to eat. We were greeted warmly by our Somali brother and quickly set our sights on the platter. The original plan was the full spread: lamb shanks, quarter chicken, and beef suqaar on a bed of rice. Unfortunately, the beef had sold out at iftar, and the salmon was gone too.
