Not far from the Tower of London - you can see most tourists leaving the tower making a right elsewhere - but to their left is a quaint pub aka “Traitors Gate” that serves great food, ale and lagers. Henry- behind the bar - was friendly and didn’t leave it at, “what will you have?” He was personable and inquisitive about the person and where they traveled from , and making sure their requests were spot on. Breaded Mushrooms and Garlic Truffle fries - delicious! Will definitely be back again for the beef pie or fish and chips! Family and friendly atmosphere!

This is our first trip to London and we had our first dinner at Traitors Gate. It was perfection. We ordered fish and chips and a beef pie, cooked to perfection. Excellent service and great value. As we’ve had dinner in many other places now, this is the one restaurant we wanted to visit again. We were not disappointed. We highly recommend Traitors Gate and will be back when we are in London again. Thank you for the great service and the great food. (We also enjoyed the music!!)

Visited for a wine after sightseeing, and staying in a hotel nearby. Sat at a table outside as a luvly sunny day. Went inside to order, friendly staff. Nice inside, bright and spacious. We njoyed our wine, good location to people watch

The place has excelente food servise. The workers are very frendly and profesionall. Sitting in there gibes you the feeling of tgis uniwue British Pub atmosphere, and thats sonething i recommend tryong everybody. Tve Fish and Chips here are delicious, perfectly fried and yummy. Tge peas are well balanced too. To localisation is very convienient - near Tower its connected to the rather dark, but interesting shade of Londons history.
