Perfect place. Found it on google maps and liked the pictures so I figured I’d give it a go with my family as it’s our first time in Newcastle especially the coast side and we wanted proper fish and chips. This really is some of the best fish and chips I’ve had and the service from the owners was 10/10. Lovely women and great quality food. You can tell they’re the original chippy of Whitley Bay. The sit in special of fish and chips, buttered bread with a strong cup of tea was under £8. Solid value for money.

I have been going to this chippy now for around 6months maybe & I can honestly say since first trying it I fell in love with the place it's delicious and they even fry in beef dripping 🤤 the first thing I tried was fish bites and chips and it that time I never even knew the chippy was there until I found it in Google but it's been there for over 100 years which I was extremely shocked about. We loved to eat fish and chips tea and bread in this place. Lovely restaurant with restaurant upstairs. Very well served as if it was your own home. Fish and chips are delicious. We had the radio on which it gave another big point to this place. I hardly recommend this fish and chips shop and restaurant in Whitley Bay.
