My mum and I came for breakfast and it was lovely! We didn’t have a booking and were still seated promptly. We both ordered the small breakfast as we aren’t big eaters in the morning, it was the perfect amount of food, all nicely cooked, the sausage was particularly tasty. The pub is nicely decorated, real traditional country pub style, and all the staff are lovely. We will be returning in the future

Plates are always a generous serving, so we very rarely have a starter. Neil had a lovely big, thick piece of gammon, homemade chunky chips, double eggs, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and onion rings. Have frequented this lovely pub for years. The food and service is always excellent but this last visit was second to none. I had the seafood linguine which was unbelievably delicious and very generously portioned. We had booked for 4.30 so didn't think we'd be able to order from the à la carte menu but we asked just in case, and the food arrived shortly after 5pm when that option started. Really impressed with how accommodating the waiting and kitchen staff are, it's always an absolute pleasure! Keep up the amazing work guys, thanks so much!!

Well what can I say don't really like the interior of the pub but the outside area is really nice. Have been to some good venues there. There is a downside 😔 the food is not good and last night was awful and not for the first time. The price is just unreal for what they're providing too expensive and not a good menu choice too. Quantity and quality not good either. Won't be returning to eat. Didn't take any pictures.
