This restaurant was a real letdown. On TheFork app, it had a rating of 8.6, but my experience was nothing like that. Maybe I've got sharper taste buds from living in Portugal, where the sushi is fantastic, or maybe the restaurant simply doesn't live up to its ratings. The staff were polite and knew how to handle the customers, but the food really missed the mark. There was garlic in the sushi, which drowned out the taste of the fish, which, by the way, seemed old and flavourless. The rice was undercooked, overly salty, and had a strong vinegar taste. The food was very fresh, especially the sashimi. The highlight were the bao buns (we tried chicken katsu and prawn katsu both major hits), highly recommended. We booked through The Fork and the promotion was applied without a problem. The food arrived quickly.
