Must must visit when in Worcester…What a fabulous piece of Olde England history in a late 1500’s house! Gorgeous cosy clean and authentic interior, beautifully stylish tartan chairs and tables, a large range of beers, ales, ciders also available as flights, warm and friendly bar staff. Best pub we have visited on our holidays here.

As an overseas traveler we were looking for a traditional English Sunday roast and we found it here at the King Charles. Even though getting a table was tough we got a seating for 4.20 but that gave us plenty of time to explore the other ale houses of Worcester. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food fast to arrive. We thought the meat may have been a bit tough as 4.20 was a late sitting for lunch but we couldn’t have been further from the truth. Family Boxing Day. We had a great time, from the bar staff, waitresses and especially the kitchen for a fabulous meal. Ham Hock and Charcuterie. Roast Turkey Dinner or Local Meat Balls that are called something else that I can’t use in the review and Garlic Mash and mushy peas. Christmas Pudding. Christmas Crackers provided which added to the experience. Great value for money. We would like thank everyone who worked that day at the King Charles, hopefully do it all again next Boxing Day.
