Mike Palfrey★★★An impromptu Sunday lunch, so we booked around 9.30 for 12pm, arrived a few minutes late due to heavy traffic on the Worcester bypass but we did call ahead to advise on arrival we were taken straight to our table, server was great although being stuck round by the toilets was t a great first impression! We asked for an alternative table and bearing in mind it wasn’t busy at 12.10, we were told they were full booked for today not sure how that equates, to having a different table but we let it go, promptly ordered some drinks, and we’d already decided before arrival what we were having, GF chic

We were told when we arrived that our friends were outside having a drink and could we hurry up and order our food quickly because it was quiet and they wanted to close. The service again wasn’t good, with the exception of one person. Additionally, the only dairy-free choice for pudding was sorbet. It’s a shame because the service is usually very good and the menu a little bit more exciting. It’s also a pity because a meal is supposed to be an enjoyable experience and I felt the service d
