My wife and I had a lovely fish & chips dinner after going to the Cinema. It came with mushy peas. We had a caraffe of white wine with it, which went down very well. You also get offered water with your meal, which is a bonus. Very popular abroad, but not so common here in the UK. Tasty food and friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable atmosphere. W/C available. Good views out of the windows towards the seafront and pier.

I recently visited The Arcades Restaurant in Worthing and had a really enjoyable experience. I ordered the fish and chips, along with octopus – which I tried for the very first time. The fish and chips were excellent. But the standout for me, though, was the octopus. Having never tried it before, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a real highlight. This is absolutely one of our fav spots in Worthing. the food is freshly cooked, portions are huge and very reasonably priced. Service is swift and always packed at weekends. Get your takeaway and enjoy it on the beach just 1 min walk away across the road.
