A very popular spot for tourists to York as it has the most amazing views of York Minster via a wall of windows! It was quite busy when I visited but staff were lovely, very attentive and welcoming and service was super quick. The menu looked good but I only wanted a coffee and cake which were very good. Be aware that gluten free cakes are not labelled or kept apart from others. Toilets are upstairs. I really enjoyed my coffee with oat milk and piece of tiffin. Will visit again. NB Keep your eyes peeled for the stuffed badger and his friend; you’ll need to speak to the owner to learn the badge

Best coffee in the area and lovely ladies who run it. Outside seats are in a gorgeous bit of sun right next to York Minster and uts beautiful gardens. Best coffee I’ve had in the UK. I had an iced latte and my Nana had a latte which was gorgeously piping hot.

Stopped in for a proper cup of tea and scones with clotted cream and jam. Best I have ever had and definitely what I wanted on my trip to the UK. My husband had a crumpet, which was also delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Nestled right next to the York minster this cafe is an ideal place to stop after a busy day of shopping/walking around York. The cakes and drinks were decent and the decor and seats inside were comfortable and fitting of the environment. The issues arise with the some staff members being disrespectful and cold towards customers even asking people on our table who were waiting for their family if they were "even coming?" after asking to move tables together. Previous reviews also seem to highlight this issue of the very obvious feeling of being unwelcome in the cafe. Overall this is not somew
