10/10 for the scones at this shop! I think this place truly lives up to its reputation. My friend said that if you're in York and don't eat the scones here, you haven't really been to York. So I stopped by to buy some. The price is very cheap tho. There was a queue to eat in by the way, so I bought them to take home instead. The staff were efficient, polite, and courteous. They have scones, tarts, cakes, and many other things. After tasting their fruit scone, I was amazed. The flavor is unique and unlike anywhere else. It pairs perfectly with the strawberry flavor. Recommend to visit☺️

Lovely little tea and scone house in a tudor building. Fresh hot tea and a variety of differently-flavoured warm scones with clotted cream, strawberry jam or a choice of various chutneys and other jams. Quaint and atmospheric - located in a small, old tudor building! Recommended.
