The food was lovely, service was reasonably fast, but, in my opinion, shows food was freshly cooked. Good portions, reasonably priced. Sadly, at present their accessible toilet was out of order, but they had an agreement with premises next door to use theirs. These things can't be helped. Would we go back - yes definitely. Just minutes away from York minster. Thank you for a lovely lunch

It was a cracking atmosphere & our meals & cocktails were fantastic. The lady who served us, who was clearly handling a good number of party tables was great. There was live music but we were sat in another room - they played the live music through the speakers at a gentle volume which was perfect. The staff were friendly and regularly came to our table to check if we need anything else. We had the cumberland sausage and the plant pot dessert, along with several cocktails. Everything was fantastic and the ambience was great too. Go here if you get the chance!

And the cocktails are always great. And the atmosphere is cosy, comfortable and elegant at the same time.
