This place is tons of fun, and worth the trip from Kent to go get hard to find marine animals to eff with. I got squid, learned how to clean it (the guy ringing me up STRONGLY suggested I look it up and made the best calamari I have always have. Plus now I know how to clean squid.

We purchased the catfish nuggets, that actually were more like strips. The first time, there was barely any seasoning on them. The second time, we asked for them to be cooked crispy since they were soft underneath. This was not done, and there was less seasoning than the first time. We went back a third time within the month to give it one last shot since we heard good things about the restaurant. Unfortunately, this time was the worst. The fish had some kind of white coating on parts of it that made it look completely unappealing. Also, the batter between the two orders was markedly different

You can either buy fresh fish and take it home or have them cook it for you. We usually have them cook it so our house doesn’t smell. We also pick out the fish before we have it cooked, ask them to fillet it and debone it and cook it! They also have coleslaw and fixings and fries and desserts. We usually get slaw and fries. We get Walleye, perch or flounder and are always pleased! We’ve been going here over 40 years!
