Ancora Bakery and Cafe is a true gem in Nob Hill. At least twice a month, whenever we are in the area, we try to stop by and support this wonderful business. This is a new spot. I found this place searching for bakeries past 2pm during the time most bakeries are closed. This one happened to be listed open until 4pm, heck yeah! Gave this little café a try for the 1st time today. The food was outstanding and better than expected. The latte was smooth and really great especially with a little added caramel that was generously offered by the staff as an add in. Service was excellent. One of my favorite go-to's in albuquerque. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the owner/manager Dominick cares about his community and those recovering from addiction. He's giving so much back to the community. To prevent it from closing again, I suggest becoming an ongoing supporter by donating a minimum of $10.00/month to keep this outstanding enterprise from closing for good. It's for a very worthwhile cause, people...and besides...it's just downright good!
