I showed up at 12 on a Sunday. Restaurant was busy so I sat at the counter, watching the cooks hustle to get food out quickly. Cooking lots of thick cut bacon. They mixed lots of chopped bacon with the eggs for the bacon omelet. It comes with American cheese, but I got shredded cheddar and extra cheese. Omelet was good. Biscuits are super fluffy. Today my first choice for lunch was Calliope’s, but I decided to try Frank’s Grill next door for the first time. Unfortunately, the experience just wasn’t it. My godson had the single pancake breakfast but only ate the bacon. I ordered a traditional shrimp po’boy and was very specific with how I wanted it: mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickles, fried shrimp, no onions, no spicy sauce, no bell peppers. Frank’s had a lovely breakfast. We got a steak omelette which has a lot of filling which we appreciated. The pancakes were amazing as well- not overly sweet and soft. And the biscuit was definitely fresh and made in house. 10/10 cute breakfast spot, will be back :)

Horrible experience this morning! I just wish there was better customer service at restaurants! The staff clearly doesn’t want to be there and doesn’t care. I placed my order online to go and ordered a spinach and mushroom omelette and added a side of avocado after selecting the 1/2 hashbrowns 1/2 grits option with wheat toast and when I selected the avocado I guess you can only choose one side option and it unselected the option for the grits and hash browns. I did not notice that so I take that as my fault but when I got home and opened the box I was extremely disappointed!!! I called to ask
