I love good cooked and cafe style food. After practice my son was craving something full of flavor and fresh. We were not disappointed. We tried the chicken and dumplings, ended up getting 2. And he had the steak egg plate. We enjoyed it all. The servers were very friendly and attentive to our drinks and needs. Will definitely come back to try more. And bring the rest of the family. What a great find! In Allen, Texas, the Allen Cafe was spot on for our early lunch before a late church service! I was nervous about a wait and service since we arrived just before noon. Parking lot was full as was the restaurant. However, we were seated within 10 minutes and our service was fantastic. We ordered chicken strips with fries and a salad, and the BLT with fries. We devoured every bite. Loved the food and the old-style diner atmosphere. Highly recommend!!
