Absolutely love this cafe! Even when I lived out of town I would make it a point to come here when I would make it back to Anchorage! The owners are awesome people and the staff are always pleasant! Their espresso shots are always consistent and the food and other drinks, especially the Spiced Blueberry Smoothie, are excellent as well! Thank you!!!

First, I love privately run coffee shops. Atmosphere: This place has character between the local art and eclectic seating options. Food: I was looking forward to trying a baked good but decided against it when we spotted the shrink wrapped goods. We ordered the avocado toast (with everything sprinkles and spice) and a yogurt parfait (which we were instructed to retrieve from the cold case). It tasted good but I have to say that there’s something emotionally that happens when there is no choice involved as a consumer. I can not say anything but great things about Midnight Sun Cafe. We, like other visitors, had first tried a different popular breakfast spot but which had hour+ long wait time. And for us, we did not want to wait that long. So we popped into this cafe. Its no frills serving good food, and good coffee. Service was really attentive. And sometimes you make a new friend. We met a lady that was on her way to exercise the YMCA. She shared some stories with us about living in Anchorage.

Good cafe, food and drinks taste great. The atmosphere was nice overall. One note to management: I noticed the barista opening a new milk container without gloves. It was a little concerning, especially with recent local virus concerns and the importance of food safety and hygiene. Please pay a bit more attention to this for customer comfort and sanitation. Otherwise, everything else was good.
