We finally made time to go try. Our first try was at the opening of the day. Couple drinks, super nice staff. We got an excellent seat without a reservation. Couldn't decide on appetizers so we got pork belly and calamari. The pork belly was amazing. You must try. Calamari reminded me of any store bought restaurant. Then we tried 3 different tacos. Fish taco was most excellent. We got an order to go. Coconut shrimp taco was also excellent and also got an order to go. We got the shrimp fajita and dont recommend going to be so oily. Again, service is outstanding. Second favorite restaurant so

Food and service were top not. Juiciest ribeye burger and the jojos stayed crispy and hot until the end of dining. My server Alex was lovely and made sure I was well taken during the whole time. Recommend! Fresh Mexican cuisine in Alaska!

We were warmly greeted during their busy dinner time. We didn't have a reservation, but they set up comfortable tables in their bar area for us. Their calamari frita appetizer was the best we ever had. The calamari was tender not chewy, cut in strips not rings, and was dipped in a tasty, lightly seasoned breading. We devoured our main courses of shrimp and meat tacos. Their side of rice and beans was large enough for 2 diners to share one order. They have a full bar area but it was cozy rather than noisy.

This was a great dinner experience with the ceviche, the chimichurri steak, the guacamole, and the shredded duck tacos all excellent. Plenty of good draft beers and innovative cocktails, and a very wide selection and range of tequila qualities. Fast, friendly service and a pleasant spacious seating area.
